Rules & Guidelines

Please read these rules carefully before registering for ISTF Talent Hunt 2026. By registering, you agree to follow them.

1 About ISTF Talent Hunt
  1. ISTF Talent Hunt is a national platform to discover, encourage and celebrate talent across India.
  2. It is organised by the India Science and Talent Foundation (ISTF), a non-profit initiative working for People, Creativity and a Brighter Tomorrow.
  3. The event is open to all eligible participants as per the category and age-group criteria.
  4. ISTF promotes creativity, confidence, learning and positive social impact through talent.
2 Eligibility Criteria
  1. Open to Indian citizens and residents of India.
  2. Participants must belong to the announced age group for their category.
  3. Valid age proof (Birth Certificate / Aadhaar / School ID / Govt. ID) is mandatory.
  4. Participants must provide correct personal information while registering.
  5. ISTF reserves the right to reject entries if eligibility criteria are not met.
3 Registration Process
  1. Register through the official ISTF Talent Hunt website.
  2. Fill in all required details: name, age, city, state, category, contact number, etc.
  3. Upload required documents (if any) as per category.
  4. Read and accept the terms and conditions.
  5. Submit the form and proceed to payment.
  6. A unique Registration Number will be sent to your email/SMS/WhatsApp after successful registration.
4 Payment Guidelines
  1. A participation fee of ₹299 is applicable for each category.
  2. Payment can be made through UPI, Credit/Debit Card, Net Banking or Wallet.
  3. Ensure payment is made only on the official ISTF payment gateway.
  4. Keep your payment receipt / transaction ID safe.
  5. Registration is confirmed only after successful payment verification.
  6. Fees are generally non-refundable once the entry is accepted, except where ISTF cancels the event/category.
  7. In case of payment issues, contact support.
5 Submission Guidelines
  1. Follow the specific format, duration, size and file type for your category.
  2. Submit your own original work (video/photo/art/project/text/etc.).
  3. Do not submit copied, plagiarised or unauthorised content.
  4. Ensure good audio/video/photo quality and clear visibility.
  5. Late or incomplete submissions may be rejected.
  6. ISTF is not responsible for technical issues beyond its control.
6 Participation Rules
  1. Each participant may join one or more categories.
  2. A separate registration and fee is required for each category.
  3. Participation must be individual unless the category allows group entries.
  4. The same entry cannot be used in multiple categories unless permitted.
  5. ISTF reserves the right to disqualify any participant for misconduct, false information or violation of rules.
7 Jury Evaluation System
  1. Each category will have a qualified jury panel of experts.
  2. Evaluation will be based on predefined criteria such as skill, creativity, originality, presentation, confidence, accuracy and overall impact.
  3. Jury marks will be converted to a standard score for final ranking.
  4. The decision of the ISTF jury/evaluation committee will be final and binding.
  5. Jury members' names may be announced on the official platform.
8 Public Voting System
  1. Selected entries may be displayed on the official ISTF website or authorised social media platforms for public voting.
  2. Only votes through the official ISTF voting system will be counted.
  3. Participants may share their official voting link with friends and supporters.
  4. Fake, automated or manipulated votes will be removed and may lead to disqualification.
  5. Where applicable, the final score will be calculated using a predefined weightage (e.g., 70% Jury Score + 30% Public Voting Score).
  6. The voting period and rules will be clearly communicated before the voting begins.
9 Awards & Recognition
  1. Winners will be announced category-wise and/or age-group-wise.
  2. Awards may include e-Certificates, trophies, medals, prizes and special recognitions.
  3. Selected participants may get opportunities for showcases, media features, training sessions and future ISTF events.
  4. All participants will receive a participation certificate.
  5. ISTF reserves the right to introduce special awards (e.g., Most Creative, People's Choice, Social Impact Award, etc.).
10 WhatsApp Updates
  1. Join the official ISTF WhatsApp broadcast list or group (link on website/registration page).
  2. Get instant updates on:
    • Event announcements
    • Important deadlines
    • Result notifications
    • Certificate distribution
    • Upcoming opportunities
  3. Keep your WhatsApp number active for timely communication.
  4. ISTF will not be responsible for missing updates due to incorrect contact details.
11 Code of Conduct
  1. Maintain respect, fairness and positivity throughout the event.
  2. Do not use abusive, offensive or unethical content.
  3. Do not misrepresent yourself or use someone else's identity.
  4. ISTF reserves the right to disqualify any participant for misconduct, inappropriate behaviour or violation of guidelines.
  5. Be a responsible participant and promote a healthy, supportive environment.
